Quilt photo catchup

It must be time for another quilt show on the newsfromjude blog, and some of these photos go back 2 months.

The first 2 quilts were made by Suzanne for new additions to her family. The first featured a hippo panel in the centre, and was quilted allover with monkeys.

The centre of the second one featured mermaids, and this one was quilted allover with fish.

Lyn made this pretty quilt for a friend who was not well, and it was quilted allover with a pattern called Floppy Daisies.

This quilt was made by Pat M for a friend, and it was quilted with pattern called Deb's Swirls.

And here is another one, made by Lyn, and again it is to be given away. There seems to be a theme here today, of quilts all made for other people. Lyn wanted simple quilting but not allover her centre block. I found a pattern that fit the block and did that in each block, SID and fill in the centre block, and a separate border.

Kath made this quilt from one of my Mystery cases, and it is called In the Jungle. It was quilted allover with a jungle leaves pattern.

Pat G made the next 3 quilts, and the first one had fairies in the panel fabrics. I found a pattern called Angel Wings for this one.

The second one featured fabric with chooks, and I found a pattern with feathers for this one.

Pat made this quilt in a Mystery Retreat, and the fabric features flowers and dragonflies, and the edge to edge pattern also has flowers and dragonflies.

Marion made this quilt  and it has been custom quilted.

That's all for this time, as I need to stop procrastinating and get to the machine and continue with that quilt. I was hoping to get it finished before Easter, but not sure if that will happen, as there are a few other jobs that need to be done too. Decisions, decisions!!

Blessings, From Jude.

Lovely variety of quilts.. that is the fun thing about doing customer quilts I think, seeing so many different styles and designs.. And you do a great job with quilting them! xx

More lovely show and tell. I like the idea of feathers on the chook quilt and fishes on the mermaids!

WOW! All are lovely works done by customers & the quilter. I could not believe that those Flower Fairies panels have just popped up on your blog too & I'll be doing the exact same quilt pattern on mine too. I also had it in paper form many years ago before the Statler. Talk about coincidence. Take care.
