In the meantime, this is to announce that this is my 1,000th published post!!! For some reason I was checking out some information in the "back pages" a couple of days ago, and noticed the published blogs data, that said that there had been 999 posts so far.
I thought this total was worthy of a special post, and decided it was time for another competition??
Please leave me a comment, preferably on the blog, (although I realise it is harder for some, but please try?) Let me know how long you have been reading newsfromjude, and how you came to find about this blog. All names will be put into a draw and a winner chosen. I am not sure what that will be yet, but it will be a good one, and I will post domestic and overseas. This will close at midnight Easter Saturday (April 20th) and a winner chosen on April 21st.

It was a lovely surprise this morning when some special people arrived for a visit on their way home. This little man is growing up so fast, and is just over 3 months old now.

Honestly I am not 100% sure Judy, but most likely when I started blogging in 2011, which seems like a long long time ago! Congratulations on 1,000 posts, I enjoy reading about your quilts, customers quilts, garden, trips and visitors, may it long continue.

WOW!!!! A thousand posts, that is a milestone. I know that I've been following you since my first Statler Retreat, when we discovered that we were both bloggers here in Oz, plus I've come to know you well over the years. Can't remember which year it was now, though I do know that I missed not coming to the one you've just had. Maybe next time. Take care & have a good week.

I'm only a meer newbie to your blog. Thinking perhaps just on 12 months maybe?? A friend had told me about you, your retreats and max. Now I can say I've been to a retreat and a Girl's pink weekend. Best weekends EVER xx

3 years ago maybe? and probably as a result of a conversation at a retreat 'across the road'. Congratulations on 1000 posts - that's a lot of typing, finding photos and editing. Not to mention the number of times you've probably had to start again coz you got interrupted! We all love this fantastic forum as it allows us to always feel a part of your life, even though some may not get to see you often. Your work is inspirational and your friendship is truly treasured. Well done.
