Chooky Blue's birthday swap

Earlier this year, I joined in with ChookyBlue's birthday swap, which involved sending 2 fat quarters of fabric to each person on the list when it's their birthday. The first birthday was back in March, and I am second on the list in May. (All the others are later in the year.)

It was rather exciting when these envelopes started arriving in the mail box before my date. (But I did not open them until the day.)

 We were able to specify our fabric preferences, but I just said to surprise me! (I think there is quite a bit of all sorts in my house to go with anything!!)

And look at all the lovely birthday cards that came with the fabrics.
