I have quilted my Antelope Canyon quilt that I have called Illusions (thankyou Chooky) and can't decide what colour binding?? Should it be black or red?? I look forward to your opinion Blessings from Jude
I am always up for a red binding, but I think in this case, because you look at the whole quilt to see the pattern, that a black binding would act as a frame/look better then red.
I think red might continue the red strips that are already there. Looking forward to seeing what you choose. I suppose the only way is to to put the various colours against the edge and squint at it. The quilt usually tells me!

I think it should be white!! Or maybe you need to strip all the colours and have a red, white and black combo.....just saying! Hugs from NZ x

Not sure, as I like to see the whole quilt laid out, then if I can't decide I try a few of the colours up against the sides. Not sure I'm much help.
My initial thought was red... but it depends if you want it to stand out or blend... xx
