It is a custom at our exhibitions for the President to issue a challenge for us to work on to display at the show. This year President Pat asked us to make Pretty, Polychromatic, perfectly functional pot holders or placements. These were to be sold to raise funds for “Days for Girls”, which I have talked about in an earlier blog posting.
We raised almost $200 for this cause with the purchase of the pot holders. I have to confess to not making one myself, although I purchased the fabric and had the idea of what I was going to do. To ease my conscience, I donated money to the cause instead!
