Miss Bridie.......

is home again after almost a week in the Children's Hospital in Adelaide. It was a worrying week for us all, but especially for her mum and dad. There was all sorts of tests and scans, followed by a knee operation to drain fluid from her knee. This is one of those times to be thankful for modern technology, as I was kept up to date with photos, videos, and messages about what was happening. We have a successful outcome, but there are many children that do not.

This photo was taken today at home, during a visit by her Aunty.

I have just received some more videos of Miss Bridie walking, and running around and back to her usual cheeky self, so tonight I am very thankful.

While I have been writing this post, my cousin is sewing the binding to her quilt, that she made back in July, and I finally quilted this week.

And the patient is in the kitchen, with her computer. A trip back to the surgeon tomorrow will tell us how things are mending.

That's all the newsfromjude for tonight. Be back soon.

Blessings, From Jude

So glad Bridie is well, while the staff are wonderful at WCH, it is not somewhere you really want to be! Hope your next patient gets good results also.

Glad Bridie is back home and on the mend. Think I may have missed a post somewhere on the way to this one. Hope your friend is on the mend too and soon doing again. I can't imagine having an injured hand whether it be left or right, as I use both for different things.(giggle) Take care.

Sorry to hear Bridie was having a such a sad time and glad to hear things are better. Worrying time for parents and family as well.
Hope the outcome for Pauline is a good one, she must be feeling upset about the whole thing. Get well soon.
