This is a photo from yesterday, nearly 8 weeks old, and I can’t believe just how much she has changed. Looks so much like her daddy!
Well it’s time to go across the road and say hello to the city arrivals at The Sanctuary. I was instructed not to put up any decorations as Raelene would see to that. I was barred from going over when they arrived, so will be interested to see what they have done. I can see some pink bows tied to the front verandah from here. I have almost finished my food preparations, so it must be time for a cuppa and a chat.
This was my “work experience” lady putting together 10 packs of 100 pink strips for the goody bags for this weekend. It had been planned for them to be all scrappy, but during the night I thought it would be nicer if they were mostly pink as it’s a pink retreat! My stash of pinks has been seriously depleted. And I am very thankful for my Go cutter and the 2 1/2” strip die, which made quick (er) work of cutting the strips. What I thought would be a 2 or 3 hours sorting job, turned out to be 2 days!
And this is my pretty pink daisy which is flowering in my front garden, right on time for the pink retreat.
Bye for now, will be back later with a full report on the weekend activities.
Blessings, From Jude

Happy Pink Weekend………..and I hope the extra donated "pink" fabric might be used in their quilt kits too! Big hugs xx (Say Hi to everyone for me)
Sounds like serious business if they are not letting you in yet! Have a fun pink weekend, look forward to seeing the end results with all those pink strips.....thank heavens for the GO cutter!
