More quilts and lots of Pink!

Just a few quilts that have been done this week.

First is from Lois, and quilted all over with a point to point triangle pattern, that gives a “custom” look to the quilt.

Made by Jenny and quilted with simple custom. A pattern in the pieced blocks and SID and background of wind swirls and a border of birds like the ones sitting in the trees.

Made by Mary and quilted with simple custom.

This was also made by Mary, and was to be an all over pattern, but had one of those peeper borders, so is edge to edge of poppies in the centre and a separate border.

I had a special delivery yesterday of something for the pink retreat. When I opened the parcel, all these little pink fuzzy things came out!! And a donation to the cause as well. Thankyou to Chris for these, my mind is going into overdrive thinking about how I can use these. Any ideas out there for me?? They are so cute, and have little eyes and sticky feet!

Have finished doing up the goody bags for the retreat, just need to tie them up with some pink ribbon.

And the little pink purses are all waiting with the play money ready for them to bid at the auction.

The collection of pink goodies has been sorted and waiting for a ride “over the road”, and then let the fun begin!! We have an interesting assortment of pink things, many that have been donated by some generous friends. Thankyou to all, and I won’t mention names, in case I forget someone.

There is still one place left for the retreat next week, September 19-21, hosted (hostessed??) by Michele Hill. Come and join us for a fun weekend. I have planned the “pink” menu, the beds are all made, and just need to put up the pink decorations. Lots of laughs are guaranteed and a good time with a lovely group of ladies. Would love to hear from you.

Blessings, From Jude
