It's time to tell you about "Bro". This is an ultrasound picture of my 8th grandchild, who is the first child for DD3 and DSIL. It has been an anxious time for them and this is their little miracle. This baby is an IVF baby, and even more special because this is the only surviving embryo. The name "bro" is an abbreviation of embryo.
Being able to have a baby is something that most people take for granted, so it comes as a bit of a shock when sometimes things don't go to plan. It is amazing just how far society has come with advances in medicine, and what specialists can do.
Now it's all systems go for them to prepare their home for the new arrival, and I look forward to actually meeting "bro" next March. Maybe a new quilt will be needed??? And a few more Melbourne trips could be on the agenda too. We are very blessed, and very thankful for this miracle.
Blessings, From Jude
