Zooming in....

I posted yesterday about my garden and the flowers, and photographed the vase of flowers I put on my table. Very pretty I thought.
This morning while I was sitting at the table, with my coffee, and doing my Bible Study (KYB) homework, I actually really looked at the flowers. And I was surprised to see the petals on this flower. Maybe I have never really taken notice of petals before, but they are hollow in the middle. Just goes to show that sometimes we don't really see what we see??

I hope I have got close enough with the camera this morning to show you.

Possible there is a lesson here for me, to really stop and look and observe in the busyness of daily life. Did you know that there were flower petals like this on a common old chrysanthemum??

On another note, before I go and stand at Max for more quilting, I read Joy's blog this morning, and she has come back to Australia from Arabia, and received her prize for the giveaway I had recently, of the little shopping trolley. Joy and I have been reading each other's blogs for awhile now, and not actually met each other. But I am excited that she is coming to join us for the Pick a Case Mystery retreat in June.

Have a good day, and I might add that it is a chilly 2deg here this morning.

Blessings, From Jude

Yes Judy, it is worth looking closely at petals on lots of flowers, but chrysanthemums come in some lovely variations. I actually saw one today which was quite amazing, but I didn't buy, as I had a couple of bits in my basket to fill a huge pot I grew sweet peas in, which weren't so successful. I hope it makes a pretty splash of colour outside my sewing room window. Joy & I will both be there. Yay! Take care.
