Last week “The Shed” at The Sanctuary was the venue for a dyeing workshop by a lovely group of ladies from Culburra, Tintinara and surrounding areas. Marie (Holly Handyes) showed them how to make some wonderful colours, and we look forward to seeing some future creations with their pieces.
A few more quilts have gone out the door with their owners this week. Some edge to edge and a couple of small custom Christmas quilts, woops, wasn’t going to mention that word, I am not ready to even contemplate that season just yet.
Have had rather a warm day today with the temperature up to 35deg, and after being in the low 20’s this week, that is just a bit too sudden for me. Can’t say I am very keen on the heat, but guess I will adjust, and just stay indoors when it gets to the 40 mark!
