Below is the action early in the first day, sorting out what fabrics to use and listening to the teacher.
This is the show and tell of their progress to lunch time on sunday. They all look pretty good dont they? And notice the lady on the right, who had to be different and put her background on point??Always one in every class!
Everyone seemed to enjoy their weekend, despite the almost 40deg on Saturday. Glad for the airconditioner and the fans. And without mentioning any names, one lady did a lovely pieced background for her kookaburra, but unfortunately left it draped over the lounge chair in her house, which was over an hour away, so no going back! And because you take everything in case you might need it to a workshop, she had a lovely fabric with leaves printed on it, that made a great second option. Think she will be doing another kookaburra when she gets home.
