Quilting photo catch up...................

It's time for an update customer quilts that have been done in the last 3 months. Somehow the blogging has got behind! A bit like a lot of things around here I think. Not sure why, perhaps there is too much happening??

First up is a scrappy star quilt made by Lois, and quilted allover with Stars and Loops. Another good idea to use up all those scraps in your place.

This quilt was made by Jacci for a friend, using shoe fabric, and quilted allover with a pattern called Shoe Fetish.

 You can see the shoe pattern better from the back.

Here is another quilt made by Lois and using lots of scrap fabrics to make house blocks. This was quilted allover with a cloud pattern. After the quilting, Lois has added lots of applique of trees, and flower pots and other things. I will take another photo of this hanging in our exhibition to show all of that.

 Sherrel made this star quilt using a lot of Batik fabrics, and it was quilted allover with a pattern called Exploding Stars.

Although the colours of this quilt appear grey in the photo, they were actually a pretty blue. Helen made this for a friend's birthday and it was quilted with a pattern called Ruffled Roses.

Here is another quilt which made great use of scraps, and made by Val.

Kaye made this quilt for a friend, using a pretty bird fabric for the centre.

The centre was crosshatched and a bird pattern quilted in the border.

Kath made this very pretty quilt from a pattern in a magazine using her own fabrics. 

This Labyrinth Walk quilt was made by Alaine using only 6 blocks and not 9 as in the original pattern and this was custom quilted.

This quilt, called Twinkle Twinkle, was made in a Mystery retreat by Val, and was quilted allover with a star pattern.

Margaret made this quilt, also in a mystery Retreat and it was quilted with a pattern called Windswept Blossoms. It was hard to get the true colour of this fabric in the photo, and it shows darker than the plum colour it was.

Another mystery retreat quilt, made by Jean, called Mystic Stars and quilted allover with Song Birds.

Louise made this quilt using her Farmer's Wife sampler blocks, and it was simply custom quilted.

I might finish this post of here, even though there are lots more photos in the files.

It is time to head for the shower and get started on my day. I have family here for the weekend, but they are all still asleep, so am getting some office time in before the day starts. I suppose I could still be in bed too, but once I am awake, I get up. I love the quiet, early mornings, before the daylight comes.
