Have been missing from home for most of the week, but was surprised when i came home to find that I had been given a Liebster Award by Judy of http://furballfarmquilting.blogspot.com.au/.
Thankyou Judy, this world of blogging has lots of surprises and things to learn about! It certainly has sent quite a bit of traffic to my site this week.
The Liebster award (German for Favorite) is usually presented to smaller blogs as a form of recognition and support. 'Smaller blog' is one with 200 followers or less. As a recipient you are to:"
1. Link back to the person who gave it to you and thank them.
2. Post the award to your blog.
3. Give the award to 5 bloggers with less than 200 followers that you appreciate and value.
4. Leave a comment on the 5 blogs to let them know that they have been offered this award.
Now I need to give this award to 5 other small blogs, so have been checking out a few of the blogs I visit, and finding the smaller ones. My list is as follows.
Sue, from http://quiltsfromtheheartsa.blogspot.com.au/ - I enjoy seeing the variety quilts that are made by their charity group
http://www.oneloosethread.blogspot.com.au/ has an enjoyable blog this week about the confessions of a fabric hoarder, something I can identify with, but would need to add threads also.
http://www.nyobre.blogspot.com.au/ is not a blog about quilting, more about stamps, scrapping and cards, which I could easily get into if there wasn't a lot more quilts I wanted to make.
http://www.blessedquilting.blogspot.com.au/ in another blog I read, I enjoy reading of Marilyns quilting and news of her life.
http://judiquilts.blogspot.com.au/ is last but not least of the 5 blogs I am awarding the Liebster award to.
Hope you enjoy my list and find something of interest to you.
It's an amazing world, where we can get a glimspe of people's lives by following their blogs and reading about their activities.
I shall do another update in a separate blog about my other activities this week, thanks to all those who read, I do hope that you find something to interest you in my ramblings.
