Miscellaneous to December 2025

There has been many other occasions up to the end of 2025, that I haven't written about, so here are a few photos for you................(in no particular order)

Miss Olivia turned 3................

My nephew and his girl were engaged..............

Mr Theo turned 18 and was on the road with his own wheels.................

Barry's grand daughter had a busy year...........firstly with her Deb Ball...........

.....................and then her formal.........

..............and then winning a special award at the year 12 Presentation night.

Barry's Perth family holidayed to New Zealand in July................

                                    DD1 and DD3 and families went cherry picking in the hills.............

Mum enjoyed cake for her 94th birthday with my Sister and her hubby.

                            Barry and his siblings enjoyed a gathering, 2 days after Christmas.
 

We finished sorting things in Barry's farm house at the end of the year. This was a very tough and emotional job for Barry, going through 50 years of life and making decisions about that to do with everything. (Which is why I am working on this house at present.)

Pat and I did attend some SA Quilters Appraisal days in the city.........and enjoyed Christmas lunch.

Mum purchased a gopher, and we put an L  plate on the front for her!!

We were visited by Faye and Kim, and had lunch out with Michelle..........

.............and this was followed by a trip out into the countryside and to view the harvester in the canola crop...........

Mr Tate won an award at school!!

              Miss Brianna celebrated her 21st birthday in July, but due to sickness we missed attending........

Barry and I had a day trip to Lameroo and admired the painted silos...............

As I am not doing so much sewing these days, I gave this machine to a friend whose granddaughter wanted to learn to sew.......it's better to be used than sitting around gathering dust.

We had a quick trip over the border to Serviceton to see the newly painted silo at the railway station.....

I visited the Keith book store, and this is how the outside wall is painted!!!

This is Barry and his staff at their Christmas function. Due to sickness, he is down one staff member, and consequently he is back in the office more than he was.

We have been very fortunate to be able to travel a lot in 2024 and 2025, and thankful for his amazing staff, who keep the wheels turning.

2026 posts will be much shorter.

I think that sums up recent times. Now I can get 2025 blog books printed, and keep working on sorting my photos.
