Quilts for Others ........

The monthly QFO (Quilts for Others) day that occurs once a month has accumulated a number of finished quilts over the last year or so and they have been sitting in the cupboard here waiting to go to their new homes.

Friends from Adelaide were in Bordertown recently and packed them into their car and took them to be donated to a hospice. THANKYOU to Ruth and Ashley for taking them for us.

16 quilts were donated by Bordertown girls and 12 from another group. They were all gratefully received. The last one in storage was to go on the next bed, so it was very timely that the 28 quilts were donated just when they were needed.

Below are photos of the donated quilts......................

There are now 2 more waiting for the quilter and a couple more in construction. It might be awhile before we accumulate a great number again, as the quilter seems to be doing a lot of travelling??

Be back soon with another post of the latest newsfromjude.

Blessings, From Jude

So many beautiful quilts that are being donated.
I’m sure they’ll be loved by the new owners.

That is a great service. My favorites are the string quilts.
Sorry I didn't realize I was a few posts behind on reading your posts.
