I am still here...........

Thought I better check in just in case you were all worried about me!! The last couple of weeks has been all go at Number 8. Am off to the city tomorrow to take my 'wares' to the SA Quilters meeting. So there has been much preparation getting things organised.

There has been more Ready, Set & Sew kits cut ready for the checking and packing queens.

I had a LOT of drawers with fabric collections in them, waiting for their turn to be cut into kits....and now a few of them have been packed into 7 metre bundles ready for someone to buy and make their own large quilt.

I made a sample quilt of one of the Ready Set & Sew designs, this one has a green border, the other has a blue............the colours are much more vibrant than they show in the photo.

A few more bundles cut ready for the packing fairy.

.and then the train arrived with the fairy on board........

and she has waved her magic wand.................

.and Pat has counted and checked my cutting........

and we are almost ready to pack the car tomorrow.........

In between there was a visit from Helen to show Raylene the quilt she has just finished for her granddaughter.

There was a visit for a couple of nights by DS and family and we managed some sewing time with Miss Bridie. (Sorry for the blurry pic, but someone tried to take it before I could protest).

Val called one morning with a friend from Darwin. Sonya was a customer of Val's when she had her shop in Darwin, before her move to Mundulla. (A lot of Val's fabrics seemed to have landed at my place so she feels a home here).

Note the shelves in the photo above, compared to this one..........and now that top shelf is almost empty too.

So it's time to head to the kitchen and see what there is in the fridge to eat. Tomorrow will be interesting to see how much room there is left in the car, knowing that there will be 3 of us and luggage too.

I will be back very soon with another post. I had hoped to update the Sale pages of this blog, but that will have to wait now. Tomorrow is the start of June, and I will be offering lots of bundles at sale prices which will be available to my blog readers until the end of June. It will be lovely to see you at the meeting tomorrow night, but if not, please come back and check my blog from next week.

Next week will be catch up week, lots of blogs to read, and some relaxing in between spending some time with Max again. He must be feeling rather neglected.

Be back soon,
Blessings, From Jude

It has been a hive of activity. We are getting a real buzz out of new quilt kit designs & fabrics. To see those odd lengths & some not so odd, tamed into lovely bundles ties with a ribbon 🎀 So it’s On with the Show tomorrow 🐝

Oh wow Jude. You and the fairy have done so well. Happy June and good luck for the show sales. I do like the border on your quilt. The 1/2 sq triangles in the corners are very effective

Wow! I hope you sell out and don't have to bring anything but empty totes home. Good luck.

Gosh no wonder you hadn't been blogging - you wouldn't have had time to, with all that busy-ness! I hope your visit to the city went well :-)
