Vintage linen

While we are still waiting for news, I have another quilt post for you. This was made by Kaye, all paper pieced by hand, and featuring old doileys in the hexagons. A great use of these, to be made into something useful that will keep for generations to come. It is sad to think of all the work someone put into sewing them, and now they are not used in "modern" houses. I have some lace doileys in my stash somewhere but they are not stitched in pretty colours like these. I do have plans for them "one day"!

Hope you enjoyed the quilt show, and I hope to be back "sometime" soon (?) with some news. This baby is showing us all who is boss, already!

Have a great week,

Blessings, From Jude

That quilt is so sweet & delicate beautiful colours. Quilting is impressive, so detailed, it deserves your magic touch. I think that bambino is already wearing those BIG BABY PANTS! ๐Ÿ˜‡
