......since the arrival of my first Gammill longarm quilting machine, on February 4th, 2002, and what a journey it has been!!
Many of my readers are familiar with the history of Cornerstone Creations Machine Quilting, but for newer followers ...... - A more comprehensive history is to be found if you click on the Background info link at the top of the page.) You may need to click on Web Page view if you are on your phone.
Due to covid in 2022 we were unable to celebrate a 20th birthday, so we are now having a 21st party!!, with the theme of Black and Bling)
Birthday celebrations
are being combined with fundraising efforts for the Breast Cancer Network Aust (BCNA).
Breast Cancer is the most common cancer affecting Australian women, and on
average 57 people are diagnosed with this every day, and I am sure we all know
“someone” affected. (This is my way of saying thankyou for the support I received whilst undergoing surgery and followup treatment for Breast Cancer in 2008.
CCMQ has previously held Pink retreats in September each year, and thanks to the generosity of many of you, a total of almost $11,000 has been donated to BCNA since 2012.
***************
3 retreats are planned, (commencing tomorrow), to start off the celebrations. There will be lots of fun and games, prizes, a birthday cake, balloons, more food and drinks, as well as some stitching t
