Customer quilt catch up, yet again...........

It seems I promised a customer quilt post, and I had even saved the pictures to a post and then life got in the way, again. So here is that catchup post. Hopefully I can get it finished and published before I need to leave for church. This afternoon I have a trip up the highway and a busy week ahead.

First up is a quilt made by Jenny, using the HexnMore Ruler. She did ask for allover quilting, but I thought that I would try some simple custom on this and am very happy with how it turned out. It was simple after I worked out that the hexagons were made up of diamonds.

This is another quilt made by Jenny, and this time it's a sampler quilt using French General fabrics. I did quilt this with an edge to edge pattern called Elegant Floral.

This is a Christmas table runner, also made by Jenny and it's quilted allover with a holly pattern.

Jill made this Brave Tin Soldier quilt for her granddaughter, and it was quilted allover with Dancing Hearts.

This starry quilt was made by Sam as a gift for her daughter, and quilted allover with Celestial Stars.

The next 2 quilts were made by Erica, who has had a year of finishing UFO's. This poppy quilt was quilted allover with Paper Poppies........

.......and this smaller child's quilt made with banana and monkey fabrics, has been quilted allover with Monkeys and Bananas.

Made by Heather this large quilt using Paisley fabric, and it was quilted allover with Paisley Feathers.

It's almost time to walk out the door, but I will be back soon with another post, which I have saved with the latest newsfromjude.

I can't believe how the time is going by so fast this year. You would think that it would seem slower with the time we have had in isolation, but not so. Perhaps covid has sped the world up?? I need to think a bit about Christmas this week, as it's coming, ready or not, and I am not. I have managed a few more quilts in the last 2 weeks as well as more socialising. I am just about to load another custom quilt which needs to be done very soon. (That's my pressure, not the customer who is happy to wait. But this quilt has been at my house since late 2019, and I would really like for it to be out of here before we get to 2021?! Then I can start the year feeling a bit better about my queue?)

I apologise that I am also way behind in reading and commenting on blogs, and replying to comments. I do hope to catch up a bit real soon.

Blessings, From Jude

Since you’ve become a social butterfly πŸ¦‹ you leave your fans waiting in anticipation. Dancing Hearts pattern is an all-time favourite with Monkeys & Bananas so appropriate. I’m sure the ladies that make these beautiful quilts appreciate your attention to detail πŸ’ 🍌.

Beautiful quilts Judy, your work is just amazing. It’s a busy time for families getting ready for Christmas but we all need to step back a little bit and reflect on life especially with so much sadness and stress this year. Focus on the positive and happy experiences we have experienced. Take care 😍😍

You do receive some beautiful quilts to work your magic on. The quilting finishes them nicely. Christmas will come around whether we decorate it but, so if you feel like a simple celebration, that is the way to go. Never feel guilty about not reading blogs. Life happens. I hope next year is a bit calmer for you.

Wow, yes you are definitely busy & I'm thinking too that the world has sped up with 2020 going by in a flash even though it's thrown all sorts at us. Love all that gorgeous quilting & wonder is sometimes you could let us know the designers name, so I can think about purchasing if I want a particular one. Have a good weeek, take care & hugs.

Lovely quilts and beautiful quilting Jude. This has been a strange year, lots of home time but the days have whizzed by. Bloggers understand life gets busy. Enjoy your weekend.

Photos are great. Slowly getting binding done, quilting for very snuggly quilts and looking after granddaughters not to mention trying to harvest. Not much decorating here at the moment, perhaps it will be simple this year. Take care and enjoy your family times

Yes this year has flown by even with COVID so let’s hope 2021 is a little slower and much better...
