Today I received a delivery of my latest blog book. I was expecting that there would be a delay as this was coming from the US, but it has only taken 2 weeks, and sometimes it takes that long to receive a parcel from within Australia.

This is the weather to be tucked up, warm & cosy with a log fire 🔥 burning, doing what we love to do..Quilting. Add to that, being catered for by a wonderful friend. 🌻
We sure are getting some winter weather this week. Great to get your blog book,and it was a fast delivery.
Lots of wood burning going on here also..... Started off nice and just got colder....
There is nothing like the heat from a wood stove. I grew up with one and have one in my house as well. My husband and I enjoy going up on the mountain in the fall to haul firewood. It is satisfying work to see it all split and stacked neatly in the shed.
