And the Pink continues...................

Just a quick check in tonight to let you know that Pink is still happening here. The final afternoon tea is tomorrow afternoon, and then I can put Grandma's cups and saucers back into storage until next year. It has been so much fun meeting up with friends, either in person, or by Zoom. The support by so many people has been amazing and the total funds raised is looking fantastic. I will add it up in the next few days after the last payments have been made. There is still time to purchase kits or fabric packs from the page on the blog, with 20% of sales donated to BCNA. This will finish on September 30th. I hope that the last few donations promised will be in by the end of the week.  THANKYOU  to all who have joined in the fun.

Here are a few more photos from this week.

.....................Zooming is great, but not so good when you can see this yummy afternoon tea, and not share in it! I love that everyone made the effort to get out the fine china, best tablecloth, wear pink hats and dress in pink, drink and eat pink, wear the pink tiara (from the granddaughters room), and even the pink hair (from the cheap shop), which all added to the fun.

We had a surprise visit this morning from my 10 year old grandson who was in town. He joined us for morning tea with this special couple.

He stayed for the afternoon, and we enjoyed a game of cards with him.

I took quite a few parcels to the Post office last week, and here are another 2 packed and ready to post in the morning.

Today I cleared the desk, did some paperwork and put lots of things back into their place. Another quilt has been loaded ready for a simple custom job.

On Wednesday I have another trip up the highway to attend my cousin's funeral. The fairy will return home on this trip as well, and will be missed. It certainly has been a fun and very social week or two, and lots of local ladies have called in to say hello while she is here. Raylene assures me she will be back soon, and hopes that it won't be long before she is able to drive again.

Be back soon, with a final fundraising total.

Blessings, From Jude

Sounds like a fun weekend, Raelene would have appreciated the break away and probably will be back when she can drive again.
Take care, Jean 😍😍

It’s been an amazing whirlwind Pink Social Extravaganza, seeing ( either in the flesh or zoom ) loads of friends & raising loads of 💰 for a cause we all relate to. Your hard work has achieved a great result. 🌸
